Call for expressions of interest in progress – 24.3 ha plot of land labelled “Turnkey industrial site “* by the State, intended to accommodate one or more activities closely linked to the port ecosystem.

An industrial vocation in line with the dynamics of energy and ecological transition carried by HAROPA PORT will be favoured. A port logistics vocation generating flows could also be studied.

Launch of a call for expressions of interest in February 2022 for an award planned during the summer.

Located in the north-eastern part of the industrial port zone, within the port district (public domain), this land used to house a cement complex, which is being dismantled. 
It has numerous networks on the periphery of the site, such as industrial water, high and low voltage electricity and gas.

The diversity of the industrial fabric in place (chemicals, petrochemicals, aeronautics, automobiles, eco-industry, etc.) makes it possible to envisage synergies between players and circular economy possibilities.

This site also has a major transport and storage offer, through the multimodal terminal and neighbouring logistics platforms.

 

* A turnkey industrial site is a site that is immediately available for industrial or logistics activities, and for which the procedures relating to town planning, preventive archaeology and the environment have been anticipated in order to allow the authorisations required for the establishment of a new industrial activity to be processed within a controlled timeframe.

Depending on the nature of the project (development area, nature of the activity), the implementation of a development project on the site is subject to environmental authorisation, particularly under the environmental code. This is a prior authorisation procedure applicable to Installations, Works and Activities (IOTA), governed by the Water Act, to Installations Classified for Environmental Protection (ICPE) and to works subject to environmental assessment.

The site is currently being restored.
The environmental constraints should be limited in terms of wetland and fauna/flora compensation.
